How the age is worked out
The calculator counts the complete years between the two dates, then the complete months left over, then the remaining days. Someone born on 15 March 2000 is 26 years, 1 month and 5 days old on 20 April 2026. The totals (months, weeks, days and hours) show the same age in a single unit. Your date of birth never leaves your device.
Frequently asked questions
How do I calculate my age?
Enter your date of birth and press Calculate. The calculator subtracts your date of birth from today's date and shows your age in years, months and days. You can also change the "Age at the date of" box to find your age on any other day, such as a form deadline or a job closing date.
How is age calculated in years, months and days?
Complete years are counted first, then the complete months left over, then the remaining days. For example, someone born on 15 March 2000 is 26 years, 1 month and 5 days old on 20 April 2026.
How can I find my age on a particular date for a form or a job application?
Type your date of birth, then choose the closing date or cut-off date in the "Age at the date of" box. The result shows your exact age on that date, which is what most Pakistani job, admission and exam forms ask for.
How many days until my next birthday?
The result also shows your next birthday, the day of the week it falls on, and how many days are left. If your birthday is today, the calculator says so.
What happens if I was born on 29 February?
In a year that is not a leap year, the next birthday is shown as 1 March. Your age in years, months and days is still counted from your real date of birth.
Is my date of birth saved?
No. The calculation happens in your browser on your own device. Your date of birth is not sent to or stored on our servers.
