This phone’s entire appeal is that it looks like an iPhone from afar. Its older version had the same design, by the way, but it tried to mimic the iPhone 17 Pro. The Nubia V90 Pro has a Burgundy Red finish. So it’s obviously a clone of Apple’s newest-generation iPhone. And it does a pretty convincing job at that. ZTE Nubia V90 Pro has three lenses stacked at the exact position an iPhone would. The horizontal Camera bar is stretched across the entire upper back. There was a leak earlier about its specs. We learned that it has a 7.7mm thin profile. So ZTE might have actually put some thought into its build. The camera bar says 108MP. That’s probably the sensor they used on the main camera, though nothing was said about the other two lenses. And the leak also reported 512GB of massive storage on the Nubia V90 Pro. This must be the pricier trim. The V80 Pro tapped out at 256GB. The newcomer has double the max storage. The screen has a thick chin. The bezels are uneven, but at least the V90 Pro has a punch hole. They say it’s a 6.75” 1,000nits display. That’s quite bright, pretty high for an IPS LCD. Of course, it doesn’t have deep, inky blacks or infinite contrast, since it’s not an AMOLED. Samsung already has a better contender in this segment: the Galaxy A17. But the Nubia V90 Pro is all about scratching the itch of owning an iPhone.
