October Was Lahore's Cleanest Month in Five Years

Maryam Nawaz says October 2026 was Lahore's cleanest month in five years, crediting improved sanitation efforts across the city. She is calling that month the Lahore cleanest stretch of the past five years.

Cleanest month in five years means, in her account, October 2026 beat the other months of that period. Improved sanitation efforts are the work she is crediting, across Lahore rather than in one neighbourhood. The update does not give a tonnage of waste, a ranking method, or a budget.

Why she called October the Lahore cleanest month

Maryam Nawaz tied the claim to improved sanitation across the city. October 2026 is the month, and five years is the comparison. No scorecard is included.
